Governance Framework

  • Representatives and authority figures should be recallable, with the threshold for recall lower than that of nomination.
  • Distribute committee assignments evenly so no one is overloaded and no committee is empty.
  • Sortition, or drawing lots, randomly assigns key roles and committee positions to prevent stratification.
  • Democratic centralism: full and open debate before a decision, then unified support and implementation once decided.
  • Give significant weight to the findings of specialized, evidence-based committees once ratified.
  • Leadership becomes a temporary duty or service, not a path to personal power.
