Media Narratives and Information Sovereignty

  • Journalists hunt for spectacle, clickbait, and profitable headlines; their motivations almost never align with the cadre's goals.
  • The default position with respect to the media should be silence.
  • Route questions through controlled channels, answered only in formats the cadre dictates.
  • Interviews should be rare and only through elected spokespeople trained in deflection and steering conversations back to solid ground.
  • The cadre's story is best told on its own terms, in its own spaces.
  • Correct only the gravest lies and move on; leave trolls to starve.
